内容記述 | In this paper we discuss the continuing, iterative process of creating an inter-disciplinary course linking Communication and Design Technology. Although technology is an integral component of the university’s vision for current and future curricula, the application and implementation of that technology is mostly limited within the confines of rigid disciplines. The skills to use technology required by Design students are essential for their major course of study. However, understanding how technology, design and humans interact in the real world is not something students experience as they do not engage in extensive field work practices. Our attempts to cross the discipline divide between Design and Communication has resulted in a number of benefits for students, staff and the university. | |||||
